Good morning everyone,
I wanted to share some information related to COVID-19 quarantine. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) does recommend continuing to properly wear face masks and to social distance, accordingly.
If you came into close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, you do not need to quarantine if you:
- have been fully vaccinated including boosters and display no symptoms of COVID-19; or
- have a confirmed negative COVID-19 test within the last 90 days and display no symptoms of COVID-19.
If you come into close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19, you should quarantine if you:
- display symptoms of COVID-19;
- have been fully vaccinated, but have not received the boosters; and/or
- are partially vaccinated or not vaccinated.
Per the CDC, during quarantine, watch for symptoms after your last close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. After 5 days of isolation, you may return to work if you display no symptoms of COVID-19. Obtaining a COVID-19 test is recommended.
